Entry format for root of the directory sub-tree

Hello Everybody,

Trying to configure LaserFiche Rio to limit Directory searches to specific sub-domain. The domain name is myad.someorg.com, the subdomain to limit searches to is dept.myad.someorg.com. What value should i put into Root field in Identity provider settings of LFDS? Is it just dept.myad.someorg.com or should be OU=dept,dc=myad,dc=someorg,dc=com

The format would be similar to you second option listed (a base distinguished name).
