Client login using Active Directory with wrong credentials generate Unknown error. [6000] - possible bug

Hi,

Client login using Active Directory with wrong password generates Unknown error. [6000]

How to reproduce:

1- Remove the check from "Use Windows Authentication"

2- login using either username@domain or domain\username

3- You will get error 6000 and it will not get recorded in Laserfiche Audit

Error details:

Error Code: 6000
Error Message: The user name or password is incorrect. (0x8007052E)
Unknown error. [6000]

Did you find a solution to this?  I'm suddenly having this error with LDAP authenticated users on my repository.

Please open a support case. I think the original "Unknown error" message is just a display error because when doing domain authentication this way (manually entering the domain credentials as domain\username) the LF client is talking directly to the AD controller to authenticate before ever trying to sign in to LFS. Using user@domain passes the credentials to the LF server to be authenticated against the LDAP profile.
