Question

Uploading Multiple Photo's from a Mobile Device in LF Forms causes 1st photo to overwrite all other photo's

asked on October 2, 2018

Hello,

We have a customer who is using an iPhone accessing Forms from the Web.

When they attach more than one photo to the form, the form overwrites any of the photo's added after the 1st photo.

They have tested this with Safari and Google Chrome, with the same outcome.

Forms Version- 10.2.0.789

Is there a custom HTML that needs to be inserted to embedded multiple images?

Thanks,

Jeff Curtis

Hi Jeff,

How was the field setup? was it set to accept multiple files or just one? I would be looking at the field it self as it seems like it is happening across all platforms here?

With thanks

Thanks for the reply Ziad,

Customer stated upload limit was set to blank and he increased it to 10, still same issue.

Hi Jeff,

Usually, when it is blank it means unlimited uploads from memory. I will be testing this within a form here to verify as well,

Thank you

Hi Jeff,

I done some testing on both 10.2.1 and 10.3.x and both seem to be working across the mobile App and the browsers.

The field is set with a blank under "File upload limit" and the size is set to 250MB but that is all that was done.

With the phone app, I can select multiple files and add them without any issues here.

Have you tried removing the field or adding an additional upload field and see if behaves the same? Does it happen across all different forms processes or just one?

I tried to go back to see if there was anything from 10.2.0 but I do not have access to it as it may be a limitation on that version? I am not sure to be honest.

With thanks,

Ziad
