Question

Web access login page customisation

asked on October 1, 2018 Show version history

Hi All,

Is there any way to hide these login options in Web Access?

My client is using SAML authentication, would like to hide Windows Authentication option.

Thanks in advance

To provide an update: Directory Server 10.4.3 (released with Laserfiche 10.4.2) added the ability to hide the Windows Authentication and/or the Laserfiche user authentication section.

This setting can be found on the STS config page, which is accessible from the machine where Directory Server is installed.

We are looking into allowing administrators to choose which options are shown on the SSO login page (the one you have shown there). I've added a note linking to this post.

For now, Directory Server 10.3 allows you to customize the button text (and color) shown for SAML login, which may help indicate to users which button they should select.

I noticed that you asked to hide Windows Authentication but not the Laserfiche user login. Is the customer using Laserfiche login in addition to SAML authentication?

Would it solve the customer's problem if we added an option to default to SAML authentication? We are investigating this as a potential feature.

Specifically, instead of seeing the login page shown above, all users would be redirected automatically to the SAML authentication step.
