Question

LF Forms Electronic Signature Standards.

asked on September 26, 2018

Hi,

A governing body has recently outlined electronic signatures standards they accept, as below.

Could someone inform me the standard LF Form electronic signatures are based on?

Apologies, I know this is likely in some white paper somewhere and I have checked answers but no luck.

Thanks

LF Forms uses an electronic signature similar to a wet signature on paper. It is simply the form fillers typed name in script on the form. For touchscreen devices like phones and tablets, we also support drawing a signature with your finger. You could also include terms and conditions directly on the form or linked to the form, and require the user to check a box indicating they agree with those terms.

LF Forms does not have digital signature capabilities that rely on a certificate or some way to truly authenticate a user to their signature. If this is required, you must use LF Forms and workflow or the repository for the Docusign integration. After the form is submitted, a PDF can be generated and sent to the form filler via Docusign for a true digital signature.
