Hide quick search in Web Access?

Hello,

Is it possible to hide the quick search box in Web Access (we have version 10.2)? If so, how?

Hi Julie,

There are ways to disable what options are available to users through settings lockdown, but I don't believe you can hide it outright. Can you provide more information on why you are looking to remove it? Thanks!

Hi Justin,

Thanks for the response. I'm looking to hide it altogether since a user could just click on the search with anything in the search box and unknowingly kick off a long, resource-intensive search (like in the Windows Client).  If there's some way I can set a default for all Web Client users to prevent that, that would be great.
