Question

Weblink stream file size limit

asked on September 24, 2018

My client who is on weblink 9 was encountering some issues with streaming large videos files. The example they have was 30gb. We understand that the size may be the issue, but when the user plays smaller videos that do successfully play, when seeking through the video the stream will freeze and not recover.

My client was interested in what the optimal limits are for video file sizes so they can better coordinate around it.

Thanks for any insight!

We are having the same issue. Do you find a solution?

I think we are experiencing something similar. We have three mp4 files that we're using for testing a new process. The ones that are 7MB and 438KB stream fine in Weblink9 but the one that is 43MB gets error "no video with supported format and MIME type found".

Has anyone seen an answer for this?

Are there any errors in the event viewer on the WebLink machine?

We checked and there are no errors/warnings relating to this.
