Workflow - Create Link Only Links to Find Entry activities?

Why can't I choose any entry with the Create Link activity? The only way to use Create Link is to use a Find Entry that points to the Entry ID of the token you want to use.

 

If you try to link it directly to entries created in the workflow, it always says this:

It sounds like you have multiple connection profiles on this workflow and Create Entry uses a different one than Create Link.

Create link does not have a connection profile associated with the activity like other activities do. The workflow itself has a master connection profile, that all activities reference if needed. There is only 1 though.

Did you make a new workflow? Are you running into this issue again?

Yes, same exact issue. This is a new workflow on another system though. In that one instance I eventually got it to work one time, but in a normal environment I have to use a find entry first.
