Where did the Assign to Me button go for group tasks in Forms?

When I started testing our first form, I assigned a task to a team. I received the email notification and used the link to approve the form. I recall seeing a green "Assign to Me" button in the top right. 

Fast forward a few days and now I don't see that button any more no matter how I enter the task: email link or going to my inbox/team tasks.

Where is that button? In what situations does it appear? I only see the Reassign button available:

I think it was because I was setup as a team administrator and not a user. Once I was added as a user, I can see this button instead of just the re-assign button.

The "Assign to Me" button should show up whenever a task is assigned to a group/team that includes more than 1 person.

For example, if I assign a task to a team with only one eligible member, it will auto-assign to that individual.

How many people are in the team you are testing with? Also, are you accessing the task through your inbox, or through the "unassigned tasks" section?

I have 5 people in the team. I'm trying to access the task through the URL first, but I also check the Inbox > Teams > Unassigned tasks hoping the ASSIGN TO ME button shows up.

Does the task in question still show up under Unassigned Tasks? Also check whether it is set to assign to the entire team or use "round robin" to auto-assign.

Okay that makes more sense. If you're not a member of the team you can't take ownership with that option, but you do have the ability to reassign to other users when you're an administrator.
