Check list - folder Contents (Document list)

Hi, is there a way I can have a list of documents within a folder at the folder level metadata?  We need to start a process once we´ve gathered all required information (documents) and would like to see the missing documents based on a fixed list of required documents.


Once we´ve gotten all documents needed, will mark the folder as completed and execute the approval process.

Hi Juan

I would think you would need 2 templates (one for the folder with a field for each required document, ie: Doc 1, Doc 2, Doc 3) and a Template for the files (to identify the Required Document that was uploaded, ie: Doc Type = Doc 1). When a document is uploaded and identified as Doc 1, then workflow would update that parent Folder Template field (ie: Doc 1 = Yes). In that same workflow you would test if all fields (Doc 1 = Yes, Doc 2 = Yes, Doc 3 = Yes) were filled. If so, kick off the Completed Workflow.
