what are the compatible tablet models for the following brands that support laserfiche:
1- Samsung
2- Huawei
3- Lenovo
Brand of hardware doesn't matter as much as the operating system running on it. All of those three brands sell touch screen devices in both Android and Windows flavors. See the Mobile Operating Systems table at the bottom of this page. Any device with a supported operating system should work fine.
We found that the processor made a significant difference with our forms. We started with Samsung SM-T560 Quad Proc units. But, they were too slow.
We are now running on about 60 Samsung SM-T580 and we notice the Oct-Core is much better for us using the same Forms.
What OS are these tablets running? (I would assume Android, but want to make sure.)
The Laserfiche mobile app is Android compatible and tested with a variety of tablets. Basic device compatibility is enforced by the app store. If a device uses an architecture or Android API that an app was not built to support, that app will not appear for that device in the app store.
To verify compatibility with specific devices before investing in them, we recommend trying the app on an emulator (or test device if you have access to one).
