Laserfiche RIO Server Service Stops

While trying to create a new repository, I am finding that the   LF Server Service is stopped.

It will not start back up through the services console. The Server requires a reboot.

  Has anyone experienced this issue?

Is your license manager or directory server set up and working?  LFS likes to kill itself if it can't find a license.
