[Bug Report] [Forms] =DAYS360 Formula validation error when the 31st of the month is selected.

posted on September 5, 2018

Hi team,

I have been evaluating the different date/time calculation formulas available in Forms in an effort to determine which formulas work best (and most accurately).

In my adventures I seemed to have stumbled across a bug with the DAYS360 formula in the latest version of Forms.

Laserfiche Forms Professional Version 10.3.1.635

As illustrated in the third panel, an error is displayed when the starting date contains the number 31. It does not have this error for any other day of the month. It doesn't matter if the 31 is in a past month or future month.

Please note our locale and month formatting is: DD/MM/YYYY

I can provide the XML for the team to review if required.

I can reproduce the issue you are describing. We'll take a look to fix this. Bug number 110136 for internal reference.

This issue will be resolved in 10.4. However, I'm not sure DAYS360() is the function you wish to use. DAYS360 is based on a 360 day year to make each month an even 30 days. If you are doing day calculations, you'll get errors on months with 28/31 days. Hence why the bug was happening for the 31st day of the month.
