Quick Fields Agent Duplicating Documents

Hello,

I was just curious if anyone else has encountered the following issue. Lately I've noticed that sometimes we will get duplicates of documents processed using Quick Fields agent and today I spotted something that looked odd.

The history for one of the session instances shows that 66 documents were created, however, the process stored 89 documents. The discrepancy in document count seems to align with the number of duplicates I found associated with that instance.

Does anyone have an idea as to what may be causing QF to store the same document twice? The duplicates are exact matches and come from the same source document so I'm stumped.

I think I figured out my own problem.

The previous instance encountered a timeout error causing it to generate 23 documents, but store none. Then, when the next session ran it picked up the 23 documents from the previous session.

The problem however is that because the post-processing step never occurred, the documents that failed to store were still in the monitored folder and got pulled in a second time thereby creating duplicates.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Is there a way to tell it only keep the generated documents if it moved the source documents out of the scanned folder?
