We have a use case where photos from a photo contest are stored in the repository. As they are high quality we don't wish to manipulate their compression at all. Is there a way to download JPEG files from the repository without having them "re-compressed"? Even setting 100 in the quality setting seems to adjust them somewhat.

Are the photos stored as electronic files attached to the documents, or are they Laserfiche pages stored as TIFFs?

ah i see now, they are being converted to TIFF. it looks like the repository import options are being obeyed for jpeg which in the client says to convert them to tiff. I wonder if there's a way that a forms save to repository can force it as an electronic document or if i have to turn off the import settings for converting jpeg files.

I believe you would need to change the import settings, but I think you can do this for the Forms user account specifically so as to avoid affecting other users.
