Hi;

We have HR Repository, that contain folders, Each Folder carries Employee ID, Inside each folder we have Employees Certificates i.e. Birth Certificate, National ID, Military Status Certificate, Degree Certificate....etc.

We need the syntax to extract Birth and National ID for a group of Employee and not all.

Can you please help?

Hi Ahmed,

If you are able to OCR your documents you may be able to extract the information. We have had mixed results doing this.

View the OCR'd text on your documents. If you are able to find the data you need you can set a pattern match to extract it. Different forms can OCR in different ways. You may find a text line such as "Birth Date 08/08/1985" which you can easily pattern match on. Depending on how the certificates are laid out it's possible the 'Birth Date' and '08/08/1985' text could be separated in the OCR'd text and not subject to an accurate pattern match.

If the data does setup for a pattern match simply 'Retrieve the Document Text' and pattern match on that text.
