Unable to Override Wait Condition from Workflow Admin

asked on August 23, 2018 Show version history

When I try to override a wait condition in the Workflow administration console on my computer, I get a DLL error:

Unable to load DLL 'mqrt.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

I can do it if I remote to the server computer.

I ran a repair on the Workflow suite on my computer and it didn’t fix it.

I eventually installed the feature from the Control Panel: Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server > Core > MSMQ Triggers and now it works.

MSMQ isn't a requirement for the admin console and the MQ management is done on the server, not the client machine. Should it really need to look for a MSMQ DLL?

Is this a bug?

Thanks for confirming!

I've used this system for 10 years and its the first time I've tried to use the override function. Apparently, easy to miss.
