6770 fujitsu scanner can not view image in scanning interface

I have installed a 6770 fujitsu scanner on a win 7 pro workstation running LF 10.2 client and scan connect 8.3 with ISIS Paperstream drivers. The scanner works fine but I am unable to view the image in the scanning viewer. I can however view thumb nails. I have checked all the settings with no luck. Prior to installing this scanner there was a fi 6130 attached I uninstalled the drivers for that scanner. Never had this issue before.

Hi John,

Most of our scanners are still fi-6770 series and connected to Windows 7 Pro PCs, but I've never actually seen this issue.

However, we use the TWAIN drivers in combination with PaperStream to scan with the 6770 rather than ScanConnect so that is likely a contributing factor.

At one point we tested the ISIS drivers with ScanConnect and ran into a variety of issues; when I talked to Fujitsu about it they recommended TWAIN over ISIS, so maybe give that a try?

If the thumbnails are there, then it has to be getting the images so it might just be a setting in the scanning interface that needs to be changed.

I tried it with the Twain drivers as well ran a repair on the client and scan connect. Same issue.

Have you tested with multiple users? That would help rule out profile settings.
