Laserfiche App Update: New Features Available

Laserfiche is excited to announce the latest update for the Laserfiche app which includes a collection of new features and enhancements.  The mobile app allows seamless, secure online and offline access to documents and forms inside and outside the Laserfiche repository. The new Laserfiche App features and enhancements are available for iOS, and Android, as well as a Windows desktop app.

New feature highlights include:

• Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Mobile Application Management (MAM) lets administrators control, secure, and enforce policies on smart mobile devices. With Laserfiche MDM/MAM, organizations can preconfigure the mobile server URL, repository access, sign-in and the forms server on iOS and Android devices. Once users download the app, they are ready to connect and begin using it. In addition, they can enforce specific Laserfiche environments and SSL/TLS.
• The Laserfiche app Maps feature now supports Google Maps when working with document locations on iOS, Android, and Windows.
• An expanded feature, Document Location can now be added to newly uploaded photos or electronic documents. This location can be extracted from a photo's EXIF data, retrieved from the device's current location, or selected on a map. Locations can also be specified manually by typing in the address or selected on a map with a pin. Users can also provide an additional location description, edit or update in the Metadata pane allowing users to search for documents by their location description.
• The Laserfiche App contains additional updates for Laserfiche Cloud.
