Multiple Payment Gateways

Hi,

I have one Forms Server with 2 near identical Forms Processes each serving its intended customers in Australia and New Zealand.

We now need to included Payment Gateway in both forms processes. How do I use 2 Brain Tree or 2 Authrise.Net to support AUD + NZD currencies?

So far the only option I can see is using both payment gateways and allocating a currency to a gateway.

Is my assumption correct? Can this cause a potential issue?

Is there is a gateway-to-currency preference?

Is there a better way?

Multiple payment gateway support is slated for release in Forms 10.4. You will be able to add multiple Authorize.Net and/or Braintree payment gateways per Forms server, and choose which to use for each process.

Thank you for responding.

What is the release date for 10.4?

For now, can we use both payment gateways with in parallel where one process uses Brain Tree with AU$ and the other uses Authorise.Net with NZ$?

Forms 10.4 should be available to VARs by the end of the year. 

Yes, for now you can configure both an Authorize.Net and Braintree payment gateway, and use a routing gateway to determine which to use.

Hi Jared,

Can 1 gateway be used in 2 forms instances? We have a customer that has 1 braintree account  used by 2 departments. They want to spin up a new forms server to separate out the 2 departments (due to load). Can we use the same braintree merchant ID on both forms config pages or we need 2 separate accounts?

You can use the same Braintree merchant account on both Forms config pages.

I have a customer with multiple departments on two forms servers. each department has a form and they are all using one payment gateway.

they are now asking that each department payments can be separated at Braintree to simplify accounting.

 

can this be done with one Laserfiche braintree gateway or do they need multiple gateways. and would there be a cost for multiple gateways if this is the only way to separate the funds

I can't remember which version it was added, but the newer versions of Laserfiche Forms support adding multiple Braintree payment gateways. Only one payment gateway can be used on a single form though. There is no additional cost from Laserfiche to add additional payment gateways.
