Office Web App didn't work with Windows Server 2016

Dear all,

I tried to enable Office Web App but it’s not success since Windows Server 2016 does not support Office Web App 2013 (Office Web App 2013 is require “Ink and Handwriting service” which is not available on Windows Server 2016)

I would like to check with LF support if we can use any other software such as Office Online Server to preview/edit Office document in LaserFiche.

Yes, the web client does support Office Online Server to view and edit Office documents within the document viewer.

Hi Alex,

I so wonder why LF VDO shown on detail pane able to 'preview' word document!

VDO name 'LF Connector Partner Integration 10961_20170823132656661_Session3od.mp4'

Please see screen shot. Or do we have any tools to preview MS Office files?

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention, our integration with the Office Online Server can also let you view the document in the Preview Pane. Also, when you import an Office document, you can preview it there as well.
