I am having issues with downloading a CSV report from Laserfiche and I am hoping someone can help.
The problem seems to be when one of the Columns is a Multi-Value Field and the text contain a CR (Carriage Return), then where the CR is found, the text is placed on the next line in the CSV/XLS doc.
I have tried exporting as TAB or Comma delimited, but the results are the same. As a test I tried the Print Folder Contents option and printing it to a PDF file, and this does not seem to do the same. The text is kept together for that specific Column.
So I would like to know if there is a way around it or is this just the way it handles the exported data? It is causing a lot of clean-up to be done in the data once it is in the CSV.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
