Question

Laserfiche AD FS Single Sign-on

asked on August 3, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I have the following questions from a client:

a.       Does Laserfiche support federated single sign-on (SSO) using Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 4.0 with Security SAML and/or WS-Federation

b.       Does Laserfiche support AD FS claims for roles-based authentication within the application.

For a) as of LFDS 10.2 I see that AD FS is supported as stated in the release notes. Is it AD FS 4.0? Does it use Security SAML and/or WS-Federation?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Adam,

For a) Laserfiche Directory Server supports AD FS 4.0. The supported endpoint type is SAML assertion consumer (with POST binding method).

For b) Yes. You will want to add a claims aware relying party trust for your Laserfiche - AD FS integration. Please refer to the following configuration documentation for detail.
