Are there sample SDK scripts for creating Laserfiche user accounts?

Hi guys,

I need to create several hundred read-only, password enabled accounts for Weblink users.  The user IDs are already in the repository in a metadata field in the folder template for the folder that I want to be able to give each user access to.  However my scripting skills are largely based around copy and pasting functionality I'm afraid, and I've not worked with SDK before so I'm finding this challenge somewhat daunting.  Is anyone able to point me in the right direction here please?

Hi Mike,

In the SDK documentation, there are tutorials in both VB and C# describing both creating users in the repository and reading values from templates and fields. Those should be able to give you a good start. You can find these in the documentation TOC under 'Tutorials: Security' and 'Tutorials: Templates and Fields'.

Thanks Justin, that's good to know, I was looking in the admin documentation and missing that.
