[Workflow] Has anyone created folders from PDF bookmarks and place the appropriate pages into that specific folder using Workflow?
Laserfiche workflow does not have built in tools to read the PDF bookmarks, so this would require custom activity, script, or application to accomplish. I would probably look at a custom program to read the bookmarks (placing bookmark names and page numbers into template fields) and convert the PDF to images at the same time. Then after the bookmarks are read and the images are created, workflow could continue by splitting the document and filing by bookmark.
Thanks Bert, that's what I suspected. A scanning service scanned in all of their documents in PDF and bookmarked the different subfolders in place of separating them.

If you need this programmatically fixed, I can build it for you, but you will have to contact Ivan Franklin at OPG-3 to contract the work. Depending on what exactly needs to be done, I would guess between 10 to 40 hrs to develop the solution. Once the solution was developed, we would turn it over to you to process your customers data or you could contract us to do that as well.
