10.3 Mobile App barcode scanning option for search not available

Have a 10.3.1 Laserfiche Server and 10.3.1 Mobile Server.

Tried both 10.3.3 App (IOS) 10.3.2 App (Android)

All were downloaded and installed in the last several days.

Neither version of the app allows scanning a barcode for a search (there is no barcode icon next to textboxes), but will when populating template fields (there is a barcode icon next to textboxes) for an opened document and it will scan and populate OK.

The online help https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/laserfichemobile/10/en-us/ipadmobile/Advanced/Content/App_Topics/Searching.htm indicates barcode scanning should be an option when searching and I don't see any reference to specific requirements for this option to be available.

Is there some setting or step I'm missing?

Hi Tony,

Sorry about that. It looks like we have unintentionally disabled that feature. I've brought it up with the team and we are working on a fix.

Hi Tony,

Please update to the latest iOS and Android app, version 10.3.5, which contains the fix for missing barcode scanning in search pane.
