Any way to analyze processing time?

Has anyone found a good way to measure actual time spent processing tasks? We have step start and stop times, but that's usually mostly queue time.

It'd be a phenomenal way to sell the process improvements to management if I could show them that the average processing time for step X is Y seconds.

Hi Scott,

 

Thanks for the feed back we really appreciate that. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard for us to define the actual start time of a step. We have last assigned date for user tasks which indicates when the current assignee gets the task, not sure if this timestamp will be helpful.
