Question

Question

What does the "cf" stand for?

asked on July 27, 2018

I noticed many form CSS classes/ids as well as tables have the prefix "cf". I'm wondering what this stands for. Does anyone know?

I believe that means clearfix. More info: http://www.cssmojo.com/clearfix_block-formatting-context_and_hasLayout/

This is also an excellent post: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8554043/what-is-a-clearfix

Visually represented clearfix:

Hope that helps!

I'm somewhat skeptical. For CSS classes it might make sense, but why use the same prefix for database tables, most of which are completely unrelated?

That is a good point, someone from Laserfiche might have to answer that one.
