how do I configure the email address to be used in Forms User Task -> "Email users when this task is assigned "

Where is this email address set?

I tried adding an attribute to the user being assigned:

[Forms]email

the email is not being sent.

The settings I described are on the Laserfiche Forms configuration page at servername/formsconfig under the "User Authentication" section.

With Repository Authentication you have to configure user attributes in the repository, however, with Directory Server authentication you get a much nicer web interface for managing user account profiles.

This would depend on your configuration. Are you using Repository Authentication or Directory Server Authentication?

I don't know this terminology. What configuration does it refer to:

Users and Groups in LF Administration console?

A setting in Forms System Security?

Somewhere else?

 

Can you point me to documentation for setting email address in each case?

Solved.

I revisited the user attributes and this time setting [Forms]Email worked,

not sure what I missed before, maybe synchronizing ...
