Feature Request: Change Color Scheme for Form Designer/Add Border Colors

asked on July 26, 2018

Hello,

We have a customer who wants to see if the Background Color Scheme can be modify when using the Forms Designer.

The issue is that with all of the White Background in the Main Design window along with Process pop-ups that also launch with the White background, they find it difficult to work within all the parts.

They also mentioned that if there was a way to possible put color borders around the Process pop-ups, if the background color scheme can't be changed, that would help as well.

Appreciate your time,

Jeff Curtis

Could you clarify which parts and pop ups are hard to see? The color scheme and contrast ratio in the form designer should all meet WCAG AA standards, so we can take a closer look at what you are seeing to see if that standard is still being met.

Hello Jared,

Thanks for your reply.

Like this layout below with the Message Start Event process event.   They are looking to see if there is a better way to make that pop-up more defined, as they feel that the White to Gray is very close in color scheme for them:

Thanks,

Jeff

I can take this back to our design team. For drop downs like that, we didn't think it was necessary to clearly define the pane background from the drop down background. The main goal was to be able to read the text on top. We can look into making the drop down borders a little more pronounced.
