This workaround will trigger a change after form loads:

var delayMillis = 1000; 

setTimeout(function()

        {

  $(".HOLDAPPID").on('click',function()

            {

  $(".HOLDAPPID input").val(strValue).trigger("change");

});

          $(".HOLDAPPID").trigger('click');

}, delayMillis);
