Question

stuck sessions in admin console

asked on July 12, 2018

We have a customer that has about 8 thousand sessions that are showing in the admin console.

They got multiple applications associated with the sessions (Workflow, Workflow Subscriber, LF Client, etc.).

I have suggested restarting their LFS and reboot their servers (its been up for 82 days).

They are on version 8.3.1.663

Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

Hi Jonathan,

You can safely ignore the Workflow and LFFTS connections in the admin console, you're only really intersted in the LF Client and Office integration ones (and WA if the customer has this option).

If you're not actually seeing any issues as a result of these connections I would simply ignore them, however one thing you might want to do is set an idle timeout limit to close any connections which are inactive. You can set this in the admin console:-

Having said that LF 8.3 is 6 years old now, I would also look to get them upgraded ASAP.

Hope this helps!

You will likley have to re-start the LF Server Services to clear the connections.
