Question

Issue with table width in Forms

asked on July 12, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I am currently using Forms 10.2.1.246 and seem to be having issues with table column width.  I have 2 columns with one set to 85% and one to 15%.  When I am looking at the form the proportions are fine.  When I preview the form proportions are way off.  I am populating the table from a SQL lookup.  What am I overlooking to get this to display right when used?

Thanks.

Do you have any CSS in your form that might be impacting the fields?

Hi Jennifer

In your Table, for each of the columns, under the "field options", check the "field width" where the setting options are (Small, Medium, Large and X-Large), if you have differing Field width types, this may affect how the percentage is applied which may give you results different than what you are expecting. You may want to set them all to the same Field Width such as X-Large, and then the percentages will make more sense to you.

They are both set to x-large.  Looks like my photo never attached to the original post.

The top part of the screenshot shows what it looks like in the canvas before I preview - proportions are fine.  Second part shows the preview view where they are short columns.

Yes, a second person working in the program had a JavaScript running on all forms that removed the width tag from the tables.

Thanks.
