How can I refresh a Workflow status window without being able to press F5

asked on July 9, 2018

Hello, I'm trying to refresh a workflow window so I can monitor the progression of a Workflow but it's on the server and I'm remoted in....can't exactly press F5 to refresh....I tried the onscreen keyboard with no luck.  Is there any other way to force a refresh?

You can also use the View drop-down menu and select Refresh from there.

Just a tip based on my own past experience. Although you might want to work on the server in some rare instances, in most cases I would advise against that if you have a semi-decent workstation to use.

You can install the designer on just about any PC and point it at the server so there's not really a need to go through the server directly.

Also, the designer can eat up a lot of memory when you run searches or test scripts, so you could inadvertently impact server performance.

Hm, that's weird. F5 should work through Remote Desktop. Are you using some other application for remoting in?
