This is not currently an option. Can you provide more information on the scenarios you are looking to achieve by adding this limitation? Thanks!

HI Justin,

We are facing the same issue where LF users scan & upload files with large size and storage become too huge.

We want to control and set a limitation on the size and dont want to leave the control of the size to the user.

Thanks,

Nadeem

Hi Nadeem,

Would you be looking for the system to reject documents past a certain size and require that users convert them to a different format or compress them before being allowed to import them? Would the users have the knowledge or understanding of how to do so?

Hi Justin,

Yes, we want LF client to prevent user from import or scan document into Laserfiche that exceed certain file size and ask the user to reduce the size.

Regards,

Nadeem

Can you provide more information on the reason they want to do this? The size of a file and the folder structure in Laserfiche don't really have anything to do with other so I'm curious what the goal here is. Thanks!
