In a workflow we use the Create Entry activity to create a new entry in our laserfiche repository with a name like %(Person Name) - %(Date)

Later in the workflow there is an Update Word Document activity that uses the %(Person Name) - %(Date) entry just created and merges token values into merge fields in the document.

Both of these activities seem to complete successfully, but only about half of the time the extension and mime type are correctly set so that the entry is stored as an MS Word document in the repository, the other half  just show up as electronic documents even though the content is an MS Word document.
