Sessions are not expiring after upgrade

Hello, in addition to suddenly being bombarded by crawler bots on our public facing Weblink, we are also experiencing an issue with our retrieval version of Weblink.  It seems as though any time you start a session, on the public or retrieval version of Weblink, the licenses will never clear after the session is closed.  These sessions will stay open even after the machine which opened them is restarted.  With the public portal, I have a feeling this is also why the bot sessions stay perpetually open. 

This all started happening when we upgraded to Weblink 10.1.  Is there some solution to this issue?  Is this a known problem with Weblink 10.1, or did our particular install and configuration get messed up?  Anyone experiencing 10.1 upgrade issues as well?  Would be great if there was an easy Laserfiche provided solution for this type of access control.
