Nuance's Power PDF compatibility

We have a customer who are looking at some alternatives to Adobe DC for their Laserfiche application.

They are version 10.2.0.839 for their LFS and client.

Ther are looking into Nuance's Power PDF Standard

Upon talking with the customer, they don't edit any of the documents, they just scan paper documents into LF. So would just the scanning OCR software work for LF?
