Not able to link copy as short cut file (View access right only)

Do anyone know that we can links documents as short cut file but we stuck with access right (View only)?

 

User need to links document that allow to view only and Laserfiche show 'Error: Access Denies [9013].  Any possible way to links document with 'View' only?

 

User don't need to make a copy new file for every time that they need to link.

Hi Somjeat,

Creating a shortcut of a document requires the ability to access the document itself (browse and read) and the ability to create documents within the folder you are trying to create the shortcut in. 

If you are trying to create a document relationship between two existing documents, you need 'write metadata' on both documents.
