Question

Unable to create the folder: d: \ Repository CCISM \ SEARCH.

asked on June 22, 2018

Hi all,

I have some troubles with the Laserfiche-SearchEngine-Service.

Each Time I have the error :

Unable to create the folder: d: \ Repository CCISM \ SEARCH.

Long time ago I created a Repository for the CCISM but this is only for try. I deleted this repository and I removed my D Drive.

IDK how to resolve this.

Someone can help?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

You'll need to stop the Laserfiche Server and Full Text Search services. Then you need to remove the repository from the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Laserfiche\Engine\8.0\Repositories\REPONAME

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Laserfiche\LFFTS\Database\<GUID HERE>

For the second one, you'll have to check the individual values to see which one of the IDs has a "IdxPath" corresponding to the path in your error message.

Once you delete the repository from both the services, restart the Laserfiche Server and Full Text Search services.

Have you tried deleting the search index?

Go to Administration Console, select your Repository then select Index.

Then delete the current index and create a new one in an existing drive.

When you deleted the repository, did you unregister it from the Laserfiche Server through the Admin Console?

No I didn't try to delete the search index because my repository is already deleted.

Actually, I think it's my mistake. Maybe I deleted the repository before to unregister it from the Laserfiche Server. How can I resolve this?
