asterisk in multivalue field columns

Some users have asterisks to designate that a filed has more than one value in the column view, but others do not.  Is there a setting to adjust to show the asterisk?

Here are a couple of snips.  One from my computer and one from another user

This is not controlled by any setting, it sounds like a bug. What version of the client are you using?

I bet that is the problem.  I have 10.1, and the other person has 10.2.  We are actually upgrading to 10.3 this week.  I will let you know if the problem resolves itself.

I did get the asterisks after the upgrade.  Thanks for your help.
