NFIRS is a form centric reporting system to allow first responders to collect incident information and upload the collected data to their respective States and then ultimately roll that data up to the national level. The NFIRS data can be collected via paper forms or via applications specifically developed to be NFIRS compliant.

Laserfiche would not be considered a NFIRS compliant application out of the box.

On the other hand, because the NFIRS system is form based you could certainly develop a series of Laserfiche Forms, Workflows, and Business Processes that would allow you to collect the necessary incident information.  However, being able to create the raw data file for bulk upload to the State would require some type of custom integration or scripted workflow.

My quick feedback is that if you are looking for an application for emergency services to use to collect incident data I would shop for some type of Fire Department  Records Management System (RMS) specifically designed for that purpose.

If you do decide to pursue using Laserfiche to collect and report NFIRS data then perhaps we can have additional discussions.  I am familiar with the NFIRS reporting system and have developed software in the past to collect and report that data at the State level.
