On Forms 10.2.1.246 has anyone else had issues with the current time in the date field not updating when it is started from within the process designer?

I have a date field and I have checked the Show Time option and I have the default value set to current datetime.  When I start an instance of the form from the process designer it seems to have cached the current time from the first time I used it that day and will never show me an updated time.  However when I start an instance of the form from the Start Processes page, it will show the updated time.  Is this a glitch or was it meant to cache the time and I will just have to deal with having the same time show on everything when I test it?  The reason I often run it from the process designer is that I typically don't publish the form (even in the dev environment) until I have it working right and done.
