Question

can custom icons be used for custom tools in Web Access 10.2?

asked on June 7, 2018

Can anyone tell me how custom tool icons can be changed in Web Access 10.2? I have 4 custom tools currently working in web access 10.2. The icon's for these 4 custom tools are showing the default custom actions icon which is just a colored circle and there is no way to tell which icon represents each of the custom tools. The first screenshot shows what the custom tool icon looks like now. The second screenshot shows how we want one of the custom tool icons to look. Setting custom icons for custom tools is easy in the LF Client but I have not been able to find the same options in web access. I understand that there may not be a built in tool or option for changing these icons but there has to be a way to do so by editing a .css file or .xml file somewhere. Can anyone give me some direction on how to set custom tool icons for Web Access 10.2?

Hi Byron,

Unfortunately no, the best we could come up with was to use the generic circle icons and just color code them.
