Setting the folder to publish the workflow to

Once published, my workflow sits in three different places under the Rule Manager

1. All Recently Published

2. My Workflows

3. My Recent Workflows

Ideally, I'd like to specify one location to publish to.  Does anyone know how this is achieved ? Apologies if it's a simple one but I've not managed to find anything by searching and I don't get the choice when publishing. Thanks.

Hi Colin,

You are not actually publishing your workflow to multiple places.   What you are seeing are just different views so that you can easily find the workflow that you are looking for.     The views just allow you to quickly see things that you are currently working on,  those the do/don't have rules applied, etc.    As the number of workflows can grow to dozens or hundreds it's nice to have them grouped like this.

You can select the folders (views) that you wish to see by right clicking and selecting options.   You can then pick and choose the folders that are displayed.

Thanks Andrew.  I can see that all those folders have the Laserfiche logo on them, whilst other folders don't, these being created by users presumably.  I'll assume that these have been populated by copy and pasting workflows from the system folders above.  Thanks again Andrew. smiley

They're not copies. A "folder" is just a category. So a workflow can be added to multiple categories, but it's still the same workflow. It doesn't matter which folder you open it from, your changes will appear in it.
