Quick Fields and Laserfiche Cloud

asked on May 30, 2018 Show version history

I have been informed that Quick Fields and Quick Fields Agent are compatible with Laserfiche Cloud.  I have succeeded in uploading processed documents to a cloud repository via Quick Fields, but am unable to register the repository with Quick Fields Agent for automated scanning.  Anyone have any info here?

Getting this error:

Could not connect to Quick Fields Agent on r-<repoNumber>.laserfiche.com.The most common cause of this error is the Quick Fields Agent service is not running on the requested server. If the service is running and it is a remote machine, check to see if remote connections are enabled. Also, check to see if the service is being blocked by the firewall.

Thanks!

Quick Fields Agent does not connect to a repository. It sounds like you're trying to use the r-repository.laserfiche.com address as a Quick Fields Agent machine in the Admin Console. You should be using the name of the local machine you installed Quick Fields Agent on.

I'm not really sure what you're asking for. Installing Quick Fields on a machine in AWS is not any different than installing it on a machine you're hosting.

If you're asking if Laserfiche Cloud can host the machine for you, that's not currently possible.
