Laserfiche and Brain tree intergration

asked on May 16

I have a customer that is using Forms 10.2.1 with the brain tree integration.

We just went live and all is working fine. The Customer just got an email warning from Braintree about non compliant TLS that need to be updated. Is this a Laserfiche thing or there core communications.

Based on records, your production account sent non-compliant TLS requests in April 2018.

If you do not update to TLS 1.2, you will no longer be able to interact with Braintree systems after June 26, 2018. This includes creating transactions, vaulting, and accessing the gateway. Learn how to ensure you're using TLS 1.2 here.

As part of PCI DSS 3.1, all merchants must update to TLS 1.2. On June 26, 2018, Braintree will stop accepting connections encrypted using TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in order to meet the PCI DSS deadline of June 30, 2018.

If you're actively working on this update and have an expected timeline for completion, please confirm by emailing If you do not confirm, we will continue to reach out to ensure that you are aware of the potential processing impact. If you have any questions about how these changes affect you, please reach out to our Support team by calling (877) 434‑2894 or emailing

We are looking into this matter and will get back to you. We believe it's configuration related but will update when we know more.

Follow up Question

I see verbiage on a support page that refers to support for TLS1.2 on a  forms 10.3.1

does this indicate the Forms 10.2.1 does not support TLS 2.1

There is the link to this verbage

We are preparing an update to 10.2.1 to address this compliance issue.
