Question

Chromebooks Problem Submitting Laserfiche Forms

asked on May 15, 2018

We're a K-12 school division that is starting to use Chromebooks a lot for our staff and students.  I've noticed problems with mysterious errors doing tasks on a fully updated Chromebook that I can complete without problems using Chrome on a windows computer.

Has anyone else noticed Chromebook issues with Laserfiche?  I'm posting this question in this group because I know many of us in K-12 use or are starting to use Chromebooks.

Specifically, I notice problem trying to view the Forms Process Designer on a Chromebook.  I also notice problems submitting forms that involve uploading a file.

Currently using Laserfiche Forms Professional Version 10.2.1.246, Dell Chromebook 11

Update...

As per a suggestion by Jared Rechnitz, I tried another Chromebook and didn't have the same problems.

So to get my Chromebook working I tried clearing browser data (range:  all time).  This didn't help.

I ended up having to remove my user from the Chromebook and re-adding it.  There must have been something stored locally that wasn't removed by merely clearing browser data.
