[LFF11-WrongUsernameOrPassword] Error in Forms Operation Log

asked on May 14, 2018

Hello,

We have a customer who is getting thousands of these warning entries every day in their Forms Operation Log:

The username or password is incorrect. [LFF11-WrongUsernameOrPassword]
Function: SaveCacheToRepository()/IndividualItemError

I looked here in LF Answers and did not see any posts.

Anyone else seen this error and possible remedy.

Thanks,

Jeff

For those who ran into this error, we figured out there maybe incorrect data generated in the memory when save files uploaded on the form into the repository with save to repository service task. The workaround is to restart Laserfiche Forms Routing Service. We are still investigating how this incorrect data is generated.

It seems the profile contains invalid information, e.g. credential is wrong. Can you go to the process designer, open the service task, edit the profile and click verify and save to make sure it goes through the verification?

Customer checked all of the email task and validated all of the process, in the Process Designer, and none of them returned an error.

ZiAn Zhou, what else could be causing this issue. All service tasks have the correct username and password, the forms are being stored in Laserfiche as expected, and we're getting two of these messages every second. There's no information as to which process is causing it or which service task. And there's no way that forms instances are hitting a particular service task once a second and being sent to the repository twice.

Was there ever any resolution to this?  Running into the same problem.

I never got a response. I have a feeling that the database is holding on to something it shouldn't be, like a process that no longer exists. At some point, I'll open another case with support to get this resolved. We're getting 2 errors every second of every day, which is really annoying!

We have the same issue, and it is very annoying. I've got a case open on it now, so I'll let you know if/when it's resolved.

What version are you using? If you are using a version before Forms 10.4.1. Please check whether you have a report schedule originated custom report of simple table type with file upload field configured in columns.

The workaround to avoid the logging issue is to disable such report schedule.

Or you can upgrade to the latest Forms 10.4.4.

The root cause of incorrect data being generated has been identified. It is related to report schedule originated custom report of simple table type with file upload field configured in columns.

The workaround to avoid the logging issue is to disable such report schedule. Alternatively, you can open a support case to require for an individual hotfix.

The bugs has been fixed with 10.3.1 update 3(https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014098/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-10-3-1-update-3) and Forms 10.4.1 or above, if you run into this issue, you can install the update or upgrade to Forms 10.4.1 or above.
