Preserve Creation date

Hello,

  Can I use a Workflow to set the Creation date of a document please? I would like to preserve the creation date in Laserfiche. Is it possible to do this using API?

The creation date is not editable. It is the date when the document was created in the repository.

I'm guessing you're trying to import files and use the creation date from the file on disk? Import Agent, Quick Fields, Scanning and the desktop client offer the file's creation date as a token that can be used to set a metadata field or the filling date for records management.

You can however copy an existing document. This will reset the creation date.
